Hawaii Vacation Home

A Fantastic Get Away: Hawaii Vacation Home

Hawaii is a fantastic exotic get away that many people consider their ideal vacation. Although some might choose to stay in a traditional hotel or motel type of a situation, Hawaii vacation home or Hawaii luxury vacation homes can be a better option, offering more comfortable accommodations, the flexibility to eat in or dine out, and are located in prime locations around all of the different islands.

Standard Homes

Hawaii vacation homes are usually two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms and run around two hundred dollars per night, which is not much different than the going hotel and motel rates on many of the islands. In addition, there are often packages that make the rate even cheaper if the vacation is for a week altogether. There is normally a deposit of at least three hundred dollars to secure the home, with the balance to be paid before occupancy is allowed.

The most expensive island for Hawaii vacation homes is normally Oahu where the homes run on average at least five hundred dollars per night. There are occasionally vacation packages that include the homes where the rates are a little less expensive, but most are between five to six hundred dollars.

In addition to these standard homes and condos, there are also luxury Hawaii vacation homes that take vacationing to a whole new level of comfort, amenities and convenience. These homes typically run over one thousand dollars per night, so they are usually only for those with money to spare.

The luxury Hawaii vacation homes are worth the money in most cases however. Most are located near the local beaches on whatever island the vacationer chooses. Most have at least one pool and Jacuzzi on the premises for the enjoyment of all who come. They are usually larger homes, often with up to five bedrooms as opposed to the typical two to three in the smaller vacation homes and condos. Luxury Hawaii vacation homes are usually over four thousand square feet so they are appropriate for larger groups of people, sleeping ten comfortably. Many of the homes are also gated, so not only are they spacious, elegant and beautiful, they offer privacy that a hotel, condo or average rental home does not.

Although these homes might not be affordable for one family, they might be a perfect choice for two or more families to split the cost to rent for the week or even the month. By splitting the cost, even at one thousand dollars per night, two families would get more for their money than renting the four hotel rooms that their families would need, costing close to that same amount. In addition, they would be able to cook their own meals when they want to do so, have their own private pool to use, and have a location that is not shared by hundreds of people at a time.
